Suman Camanting or Sweetened Cassava Cake
Suman Camanting is a cassava cake wrapped with banana leaves. This is also a traditional filipino native delicacy commonly sold after sunday mass. This kind of food is also a good source of carbohydrates.

INGREDIENTS
GRATED CASSAVA COCONUT MILK
CONDENSED MILK BROWN SUGAR
MUSCOVADO BANANA LEAVES
COOKING PROCEDURES
Step 1. Grate cassava tuber then remove its juice to eliminate its high content of toxic substance called cyanide using any clean cloth.
Step 2
Combine all ingredients into a large container. Mix them well.
Step 3
Take a spoonful of the mixture then wrapped it with banana leaf.
Step 4
Put all raw suman in a cooking pot. Fill it with potable water to cover. Cook it under fire for an hour or more to achieve cooking perfection.
Step 5. Ready to serve.
